October 19, 200619 yr Somebody know if FSX is optimized for wideview screen 16:10 or we'll see scratch panel like in fs9.1?Andy
October 19, 200619 yr There is actually a spot in the config file to tell it that you are using wide screen. Looks great. My monitor specs below...Dave
October 21, 200619 yr Hi Dave, I'm also about to buy a 16:10 screen. Would it be possible for you to post a picture of the screen showing FSX incl. a 2D panel? Not that I don't believe you, it's just that I wonder what it looks like. Thanks!
October 21, 200619 yr Nice find Dave. Unfortunately though, enabling this setting does nothing to stop 2D panels stretching. What it does seem to do is give a much better default zoom aspect with the VC, whereas before it was not possible to zoom out far enough for it to look "right". Since I mostly use VC now (thanks TrackIR!) and often used spanned display mode (ie. double widescreen of 3360x1050), this is a great discovery for me!Gary 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
