October 24, 200619 yr Hello AllI would just like to know how a new PSU is fitted.When you buy a replacement does it come with all the necessary cables that you have to connect to the individual parts in your computer(drives,graphics etc and then to the PSU) or is there just one connection that fits from the spaghetti in your machine into the back of the PSU i hope it is the latter.cheers Andy
October 24, 200619 yr There is no bus technology in PSU's so they can't share cabling, so they come with all the connectors fitted, individually. You might need an adapter or two, to go from a Molex to s six-pin, or an extension to reach a power socket in the far corners of the computer or to allow the cabling to route round something, but that's unusual.Allcott
