Is anyone going to try running FS9 with Vista/DX10 with a graphics card (Nvidia 8800GTX as of now) that supports DX10 ?

Well, it would only be running in DX9.0L mode (I assume the L stands for LongHorn) - 9.0L is the version of DX9 thats included in Vista, so not sure it would be any different than running it on any other comparable non-DX10 video card. DX10 video card support isn't going to get you anything with FS9 (or FSX at the moment :-> ), and from what I hear the current 8800 Vista drivers suck big time :->
