January 31, 200719 yr I finally got my Matrox unit and 3 19" monitors . Changed my video card to 7800GS from ATI ran driver cleaner in safe mode and it knocked out my raid aray.Need to reformat and reinstall all 50gigs.Yikes!Thanks for letting me blow off some steamBest regardsAndrew
January 31, 200719 yr Yes, it is frustrating when something that shouldn't be related knocks out your RAID. I reformatted as non-RAID and now cross-backup important data between the disks. I don't notice any performance degradation over RAID 0.I'm sure you'll enjoy your TH2GO when you get it all up and running. I'm going to keep running my dual widescreen setup until a next gen TH2GO comes out that isn't so restrictive on resolutions to run native res and is full DVI input and output.Gary 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11

February 1, 200719 yr I had my Raid0 config destroyed by one of the hard drives going bad (on a 6 month old system!). I ended up doing the same as Gary and now have two SATA hard drives and I backup valuable files on each. I saw little or no performance change but I know a Raid0 config is best for anyone looking for the best performance. It's strange the ATI uninstall program went into safe mode. I have an ATI card and that has never happened when I uninstalled/reinstalled the drivers. I also use Drive Cleaner Pro and it removes even more files/registry entries the ATI Uninstall left behind. Still no problems. I think your computer system will go into safe mode if you are having a hardware failure like I had. I got several warnings beforehand though through the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Warnings and I disregarded them each time as the computer successfully rebooted and the problem seemed to go away. Then, one day I couldn't even boot into safe mode and everything was lost.Best regards anyway,Jim
