February 2, 200719 yr I was thinking of getting one, but...I've currently got a force feedback joystick and use FSForce -- which works well, giving a proper trimming operation. But the Yokes aren't force feedback. Is there any centring force? When you trim, what happens? And what happens in a real plane? You hold the yoke for a particular airspeed in a climb, turn the trim wheel, presumably the pressure comes off, but the yoke stays in the same position?Advice gratefully received.
February 2, 200719 yr There's no force feed back, but man, it's good.I used to use a X-45, and switching to the CH Yoke was like a whole new world of flying for me. It's incredibly smooth.Trim doesn't effect the position of the yoke, I can't speak for real aircraft. But it is certainly is an amazing piece of hardware.
February 2, 200719 yr HiI have assigned two switches on the Yoke to electrical trim up and trim down.Works very well.Trim it to your wishes and you can fly hands off.RegardsHenrik KorningBGGH
