Hi guys,I've read various things about the recent ATI driver releases, i.e. not good for the Sapphire Radeon X1950 XTX - so over to you who know!Which ATI driver version is currently delivering the goods with this card and FSX? Updating drivers for me will be a big deal, first time on new rig so I would like to be fairly sure I will get better not worse performance.Many thanks,Gemma

There are other beta 6 series that are said to be good such as 6.5. The 7 series have been very unstable for the 1950's. I'm hoping ATI get's these working, because they supposedly activated a different form of Xfire in the 7 series, that is suppose to use Xfire more effectively, even for apps not optimized for it.

Gotta agree: I'm still using the 7.2 drivers, and she's stable as long as you don't change any setting: the next time you fire up the sim - the dreaded blurries and purple death are all back. Then it's uninstall and reinstall time. I want an 8800gtx. Swap anyone?

I did have an 8800GTX on order, but they fluffed it up so I stayed with the X1950 XTX.... may be I should think again! Seems like I'm stuck with the drivers that shipped with the card then as no working updates are available :0(Thanks for the help though guys, least I can save myself the angst of updating to worse drivers now!Best regards,Gemma
