July 25, 200718 yr The best advice I can give you is to research power supplies MOBO's and whatever else you need. Read all the reviews on the component you are looking that you can find. At the very least you should get a MOBO with a P35 Chipset. If you don't plan on SLI then probably at least a 600W P/S. Everything I have read re: the newer processors ie: with G0 stepping is that theyeasily overclock on even stock cooling but you might want to look atthe Thermaltake Typhoon.Google the heck out of components and you will find a lot of reviews as well as advice/opinions in many of the forums.CraigASUS A8N- nForce SLI Chipset SATA RAID Dual PCIe MOBOAMD ATHLON64 3500+ CPU w/ HT TechLG GWA-4161 DVD/CDSeagate ST3160811AS 160GB Barracuda 9 7200RPM 8MB SATA II 3Gb/s NCQSeagate ST3160811AS 250GB Barracuda 9 7200RPM 8MB SATA II 3Gb/s NCQEVGA 7950 GT KO PCIe 512mb nvodngov19147-[Guru3D.com] drivers SB Audigy 22G Corsair PC 3200 400MHZ Dual Channel DDR Aspire 500W P/SWinXP Pro 32bit SP2Track IR3 w/vectorCH Yolk & RuddersFS Genesis Terrain MeshFS Genesis Land ClassActive SkyRC4
August 8, 200718 yr Thanks CraigHave done a fair bit more research already; great advice on the G0 stepping. I will post my assembled components with comments once done.Stobbe
