Which is the better graphic card for FSX the 8800GTS or the ATI 2900XT? From what I have read the 2900XT has slight better performance than 8800GTS but sure if it makes much difference in FSX. ATI generally have a clearer sharper display is this still the case with the 2900XT?Andrew

You can find performance charts on www.tomshardware.com. I recently put together my machine and chose the 8800GTS 320mb card (I couldn't afford the 640mb version). I don't think the 2900 offers that much of an improvement, if any.I typically prefer the image you get from ATI, but I've been very pleased with the Nvidia card so far. The biggest reason I went with Nvidia was for the support with TripleHead2Go from Matrox. ATI only supports 800X600 resolution on the screens.For the money, I think your best bet is to with the Nvidia card. I believe you'll find that's what Tom's Hardware will also recommend.
