October 2, 200718 yr Anyone else having trouble with the Saitek Yoke? I have it calibrated just fine, but I get random button pushes for no reason. At first I thought it was something I had wrong in the config or just me bumping them by mistake, but now I see the problem. I pause a flight and walk away for a short break and come back to find fs2004 in tower view. I also get random view movements. I've had the parking break release during engine startup as well. Just curious if others have the same problem, or if this is something specific to my hardware?I'm back to my old x52 until this can get resolved. Can't have my AP turning off in the middle of flight on me. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
October 3, 200718 yr Yes but i believe its not a hardware problem. I played for 2 or 3 days without installing the CD drivers and noticed nothing. When i did install i am findng the odd "phantom" button push. I expect a software update to correct it but i would like to know how to uninstall the Saitek HID drivers to revert to the PnP version.Dotsie.
October 3, 200718 yr Well,My experience of the Saitek Yoke is all positive so far. I didn't install any Saitek controller program. Just plugged it in. In FSX I deleted all axis assignments. I use FSUIPC to assign axises and calibration. The yoke works perfectly well. Seems to be more robust than my worn down CH yoke, but time will tell.Ulf B :-)WinXP and FSX.
