December 18, 200718 yr I left my computer on all night to defrag-came in and there is a thin black line about 1 pixel wide going across the screen exactly in the middle. I thought it might be the drivers and reinstalled them but that did nothing. Then I turned the monitor on with the computer off and noticed the line in the "no signal" prompt. Is this a sign my monitor died, is the cable bad, or is there some other solution someone knows of?Thanks!http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/1b5baf...b9f427f694g.jpgMy blog:http://geofageofa.spaces.live.com/ Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!

December 18, 200718 yr I've seen this in CRT monitors and been told that it's normal, but in an LCD monitor it indeed sounds like a whole row of dead pixels. Without actually being able to see it, it's rather difficult to really tell.Good luck.
