16xS caused a Blue Screen crash after about 5 minutes, but 8x works well and is a very big improvement over the defualt settings on my system. Many, many thanks for discovering and publishing this tweak.PS - While it worked, 16xS halved my frame rates (but since it was still faster than necessary I wasn't too worried about that).Bob,

And embarrasing too. Somehow that post didnt register with me, apparently, probably also because I de-installed nHancer shortly after that (don't know why anymore, there were some problems (lockups), I think: I am really gettin old...). But indeed you say Global overrides the profile. BUT (big but) it ONLY overrides the FSAA settings! All other settings (well, AF ayway) are NOT overridden (is that the right word?): because everything apart frm FSAA is used from the proilfe! With DX9 anyway. So this means you BOTH have to set the profile AND only the global FSAA settings. You didnt't say that, now did you? :( ;) Well, not exactly... (Please don't come up with another post with shows you DID....!!! :( )Well, anyway, no matter how and what and who and where: this topic DID convert some more people to 8xS... ;)

Can you give me some advice as to what settings in nhancer I should try? I just had my computer updated/graded And I had same problem before and still do. I've been working with a gentleman doing different experimenting via pictures. He says his equipment he uses to scan my pictures shows I'm not getting AA. I in the meantime will install nhancer.Maybe you can adv me what settings I should try,unless I should just try the settings you mention above using FSX. Wld appreciate any help you would giv me. This has been a long time problem for me & no addons can correct my problem.They just make my picture worse.Regards,Tim:-)
