Now what would course my PC to turn off

Featured Replies

Did a reformat of my PC, booting in NTFS which is standard for windows based PC.Installed my drivers ect. Flight sim x is anso installed with SP1 and SP2.Story is, when i am playing flight sim for about 10-15-30 minutes, the computer just turns off. No warning, power just goes off.I can have it on for hours, so i gather it could be a USB joystick problem, ram issues or software issues. Never had this problem so I am quite confused.Specs are in my sig (hope so) however i now have 3048 GB of ramThank you all :-)

My educated guess is going be that you have a heat issue with either the CPU or the graphics card. You may also have a failing power supply.Just having it on for hours does not tax your system like FSX will.

HiThat could be the issue. The graphics card could be overheating or something. Will investigate heat issues.
