Does anyone own the Hotseat

http://hotseatinc.com/uploads/30/PAGES/1900/Anyone have this? Any complaints? Anything good about it. I am mainly concerned about how good the PC is that comes with it. Thanks for any insight.

I dont have it, but from what I read on the link, the $1449 one doesn't come with a pc or monitor, and the next one in line the $3799 one comes with what looks like possibly an intel Q6600 quad core. It doesn't list the video card specs, ram specs, size and type of power supply, size of hard drive etc...If it is a Q6600, that is a good CPU, but it would probably be cheaper getting the bare bones hotseat and building or buying the PC separately. That way you know what you are getting, and can shop around for good deals on the hardware. A lot of times package deals such as this are built with lower quality parts, and use onboard video, and crappy underpowered power supplies. A good indication of this could be the small PC case. Looking at what you get it seems very expensive! If I read correctly, you are buying a seat, supports for your FS controllers, a 5.1 speaker system and a monitor stand for about $1400... Geoff

Thanks for the comments. I am trying to decide on a new computer and I saw the hotseat and thaught it seemed like a good idea but very pricey. I have the yoke and pedals already so I probably dont need that. Im not sure if I want to buy a system for FSX or one for FS9. I have tons of addons for FS9 that wont work on FSX. So Im not really sure what I want yet. I found a site that builds computers just for flightsim ( http://www.jetlinesystems.com/index.html ) and the pc looks alot like the one in the picture on the hot seat but not sure if it is the same. Anyway thanks for the response. Id still like to know if anyone owns this.
