I've gradually come to the realization that my 8600GTS card has 256M physical memory, but is viewed by WinXP and I assume FSX as a 512M card.This is accomplished by the driver enabling a feature called Turbocache which I've been unable to turn off.Maybe this is just fine and I should stop fussing with it...
