March 16, 200818 yr I've gotten my 8800 GT Superclocked overclocked even further to 670/1670 shader/970. How do I test the stability of it and check for artifacts? I'm using NVIDIA MonitorView to monitor temps. Fan speed is at 100%.Thanks! March 17, 200818 yr I personally would use 3dMark06 and run it in loop mode if you have the full version.Otherwise pick a game demo of one of the later games and run an intense scene with lots of volumetric thingsFor instance, my OCed card froze up on 29% fan (stock fan speed hehe) during a battle scene from Half Life 2 Ep 2Changing the fan to 50% seemed to fix it | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
