May 3, 200818 yr I just did this......Setting up multiple displays in Nvidia control panel should be DualView... Thats what I did just to be able to drag guages over...Then go to Change Resolution in Control Panel and highlight one monitor and set its resolution, then select the other monitor and do the same...You're done.....Like I said I don't know about dragging whole windows ,this works for me for moving guages..And it works great....

May 4, 200818 yr Hi Johan, here's what I think is happening. When you are in windowed mode, your flight sim screens are running at their desktop resolutions and they are probably set at the same resolution. When you change to full screen mode, then your monitors are running at the resolutions set in flight sim Options>Settings>Display. When you use two monitors the "Device name" is a dropdown box and will have a set of entries for each monitor. Here's mine with the dropdown displayed.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/188323.jpgClick on each monitor and I'll bet that you'll find the secondary dievice is set to a lower resolution. Set that to the same resolution as your primary (and to keep things simple, the same resolution as your desktop) and you should be set.R-
May 4, 200818 yr Just to throw another potato into the stew- I'm running triple monitors- triple synchronized views and most popups opened full time. I find that arranging views /popups in Full Screen almost impossible to manage, drag, layer etc AND the resulting frame rate is slightly less than Windowed mode!So Full Screen is a non starter here.As an appearance offset- Desktop colour is black (no colour!), Task Bar and Menu Bar are auto hidden & all Title bar colours are set to black with dark Green lettering. You have to look closely to realize FS(9) is not running in Full Screen. AMD XP2200 1.8 with GeForce FX5200 AGP/PCI cardsAlex Reid
May 5, 200818 yr Don't understand why you refer to "the low res. of windowed mode". My three monitors run at 1024x768- just as I set them in Control Panel/Display/Settings. You are setting your monitor resolutions here aren't you ?? You can have any resolution you want- dependant on processor and monitor capabilities.Alex Reid
