TripleHead2Go with a 24" and 2 - 19" monitors?

Featured Replies

Hi again, I currently run dual monitors, one 24" for VC with a 19" for gauges etc and was considering adding another 19" along with a TH2Go. Anyone have a similar setup and if so, how does it perform? I have the TH2GO with one 22" wide and 2 19" square screens. It works great, but does require some extra horsepower. Your setup should be good. The TH2GO makes on huge screen, so if you run FSX in full screen mode you will use up to 3840 x 1024 resolution. In your situation the monitors might not line up. You may need three 24" monitors or some other size that has the same vertical display range. You can move gauges all over the screen. If you run in Windows mode then you can undock and move guages/ views separately. I use full screen and have been using DX 10, but I am trying to add a fourth screen for a GPS which I can not get to work with dx10.

Hi Anthony, Yep, I plan on using fullscreen and will probebly add a smaller 4th monitor for gauges. At this point, I think 3 monitors of the same size for spanning the VC might be the best route but I hate the thought of giving up my 24"'er. I don't know if running 3 24's is possible? and whether my rig is even up to it. Thanks. Kendall,3 x 24" is possible running at 3840x1024, it's not native resolution but it works well. I have designed and built a system using this configuration coupled to a 19"W running at 1440x900 for the instruments. System = X38 MB, E8400 at 3.0GHz, 2GB RAM @ 1066MHz, 8800GTX, (digital)TH2Go I reckon your system will handle it but the 8800GT might struggle at the higher end of the settings. I tried replacing the 8800GTX with a 9800GTX and it stuttered and had blurries. That amount of pixels needs the 384-bit bus width and 768MB of the 8800GTXRegardsJim

Jim,Are you using DX10 or DX9?
