Second computer dedicated to FSX

Featured Replies

After attempting to upgrade my computer(Packard Bell,Imedia 1508/2, Mother board=GA-81915 PMD,CPU=Intel Pentium 4519K) I am coming to the conclusion that it would make more sense to have one built and dedicate it to FSX.(1) Would there be a problem installing FSX in a second computer?(2) Can I transfer all my add-ons over?(3) Windows XP or Visa?(4) Suggestions for hardware,CPU,Mother board, Graphics processor et?I want to be able to fly a 747-400 into JFK or LAX with an FPS 20-30.As I'm not that computer savvy I'll get it built in my local computer shop. Will be very grateful for any advise. Ray London UK.

The specs in my signature will do 20-30 into JFK or LAX. For those two airports (and Tokyo, too), if you run lots of AI, you are going to have to still make compromises, but it's a very good specification for an FSX computer, I think....and it doesn't cost that much, relatively speaking.RhettFS box: E8500 (@ 3.80 ghz), AC Freezer 7 Pro, ASUS P5E3 Premium, BFG 8800GTX 756 (nVidia 169 WHQL), 4gb DDR3 1600 Patriot Cas7 7-7-7-20 (2T), PC Power 750, WD 150gb 10000rpm Raptor, Seagate 500gb, Silverstone TJ09 case, Vista Ultimate 64ASX Client: AMD 3700+ (@ 2.6 ghz), 7800GT
