January 17, 200323 yr Another GFFX, PNY for $399 says expected ship date of February 5th! Noticed in the system specs is just a 350W PS, I wounder how many other devices would still work. http://www.frontiernet.net/~pleatzaw/images/spank.gifhttp://www.compusa.com/products/product_in...uct_code=300548http://www.frontiernet.net/~pleatzaw/images/Eyes.gif http://www.frontiernet.net/~pleatzaw/images/Eyes.gif
January 17, 200323 yr Paul - I thought I read somewhere that the nVidia recommendation on the power supply is 400W (or, even better, more). There is no way with all the stuff I've put inside this box that I'd try that card with a 350W supply. But, then again, who needs all that "extra" stuff anyway :-) . January 17, 200323 yr I'm just gonna wait and listen to these forums. If enough people say its like night and day when using FS then I'll make the investment. Otherwise I'm stickin' with my Ti4400. Just my two cents, see ya
January 17, 200323 yr Author Well, now you've gone and done it. Been waiting for this one! Preorder is IN!:-beerchug
January 17, 200323 yr I'm sticking with my 4200 here too Dave. I'll be really surprised if the FX makes a significant overall performance difference with FS2002. But, I could really use it for GP4 :-)....Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage.
