October 18, 200817 yr I upgraded my se up to run FSX but still get "stuttering" so I wondered if adding a second graphics card in SLi Mode would help.I`m currently using Asus M2N-SLI Mobo, AMD Phenom 9750 CPU, 4 Gb Ram and a Gainward GForce 8800GT 512Mb GPU.If I add a second card must it be the exact same as the first or can it be another makers GForce 8800GT 512Mb Card. Thanks for your helpGeorge
October 18, 200817 yr FSX will not benefit at all from SLI. So if you are planning on going SLI to get any performance out of FSX do not waste your money. If you are planning on going SLI for other titles that take advantage of SLI then you may want to consider it but you will get zero performance gain from it in FSX.
October 18, 200817 yr George,Have you tried to limit fps in FSX (25 pfs or so)? I get stutters and bad graphics if I run with unlimited fps. This is not consistent and other simmers report the exact opposite.Ulf BCore2Duo X6800 3.3GHz4GB RAM Corsair XMS2-8500C5BFG 8800GTX, Creative SB X-FiFSX Acc/SP2, Vista 32
