Yes...Q1 2009--you should be able to build an E8500 or Pen Quad rig for cheap. Same with boards--X38/X48 chipset boards will drop, Intel will want to sell the i7's and its boards as 2009 progresses.The i7 has me interested mainly because of the mem controller setup. I really want to see how that reacts with FSX and overclocks.
