November 26, 200817 yr Hi gang,I've been out of the FS world for the most part lately, but want to get back in. I found this ad for a bare bones system from Tiger Direct and wanted opinions on whether or not it would be a good system for FS9 and/or FSX. I know I'll need to eventually look at an add-on graphics card, but I can live with the onboard type for now. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. You can see the system at http://tinyurl.com/6j2k48Thanks!KP

Also, that power supply is likely a piece of junk, regardless of its overall wattage rating. A few suggestions:1) avoid the Nvidia-based motherboard (I'd recommend a P35 or P45 Intel board instead)2) get a *real* power supply from a name brand like Corsair or Silverstone or PC Power & Cooling or Seasonic or Coolermaster (tons of options, just ask if you're unsure)3) get a discrete PCI Express graphics card - you won't be simming without it (Nvidia 9600 GT or better will do the trick)
November 26, 200817 yr Author Thanks for the advice! :) I'll probably just hold off until I can afford a little more.KP
