Assistance with UK Registration Font for XL Airways

Featured Replies

Hello,I am making an attempt to repaint the new XL Airways livery on the Boeing 767. Unfortunately I don't have the font Excel/XL Airways uses on their aircraft.Maybe someone of you can help identify the font or even better provide with a bitmap including the font in a large size.Example: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1165958/L/ I know I am asking for much, but I can't think of better opportunity than here? :D best regards,Christian

For some reason I didn't spot this Christian.. sorry! If you still need the help..The best way would be just to make the text by tracing it in the painting software. Enlarge it and just have a go :)Edit: Something I just came up with..http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/167817.jpg

Hello Morgan, thank you very much for your kind help, the second time already :D! I have got the XL logo and I probably didn't state clear enough, that I was looking for the font of the registration. Meanwhile I used Amarillo with a few changes by hand, I think this comes quite close to the real thing.Anyway, it's great to have you in these forums :D.best regards,Christian
