February 5, 200818 yr I used mspaint to cut and paste a RR (rolls Royce) logo (24bit) onto an engine. Looked good.Used DXTbmp to save it as extended DXT3 file and also as 32 bit file of the engine and logo. Both looked ok when viewed with DXTBmp.I had a DXT3 and 32 bit aircraft to test my textures on.But, when I viewed the engine in MSFS9 the engine looked ok but the logo looks "blurry".See Attached JPGsI feel I am close to getting it right ... but not there yet.Maybe I missed clicking an option in DXTBmp .. do not know? February 5, 200818 yr In DXTBmp make sure "Prefs" - "Display alpha channel" is ticked. On the right when saving make sure the "Include when saving" isn't ticked :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

February 7, 200818 yr Author >In DXTBmp make sure "Prefs" - "Display alpha channel" is>ticked. On the right when saving make sure the "Include when>saving" isn't ticked :)Morgan,Darn, I feel real dumb now! Here I (my brain) read "is ticked" instead of your exact instruction "isn't" ticked!I am sure I had them both "ticked" when I did the edit the next day.I will test again today using "original" files and see how it works. From now on I am going to "print" the instructions and read them twice before going off and trying to do edits from memory.
