May 15, 200818 yr This may be a dumb question (and if you believe there are no dumb questions watch a video of the news hawks at one of Rumsfeld's briefings during the early phase of the Iraq invasion) but I'm gonna ask it anyhow. Here goes. How would one go about turning OFF the registration number on a model that is configured to do so? Until yesterday I had never assayed to repaint one of the default models. All was well until I brought the new livery up in FS9. Lo and behold there, behind the reg # I put in the fuselage texture, was the reg # in white in smaller letters. How can I get that built in reg # to go away? CAN I get the built in reg # to go away?Crossing fingers, toes and eyes,Bionic Bill
May 16, 200818 yr Hi Bill,If I remember correctly you can disable the reg# by deleting the number on the aircraft selection screen or you can delete the number in the aircraft.cfgHope this helps. \Robert Hamlich/
May 16, 200818 yr The registration can be "unanbled" at the aircraft-settings in the aircraftmenu in Flightsimulator.Simply deleting the registration there is not possible.Removing the atc-id in the aircraft.cfg does not help.Leen
May 16, 200818 yr Thanks all. I was hoping there was a way to disable that permanently but I'll just have to have the VA CEO tell his pilots to turn it off when they load up that plane. Not a major problem. Merely an irritant.Bionic Bill
