January 22, 200719 yr I would like to participate in this year's race but have had no luck getting a screenshot utility going. It must save them in Jpeg format because I do not have a converter. I tried Screen Shooter but after multiple installs it never works as advertised. Although I set Jpeg it saves one pic in BMP, names it temp and overwrites it next time I take a picture. Thanx in advance.Best Regards, Donny :-waveFLYing? It's cool. Trillions of birds and insects can't be wrong.

January 22, 200719 yr Hi and welcome Donny :-waveThe prefered way to validate flights is the FS Duenna, created by Johannes Mueller. You can find it here: http://johannesmueller.com/fs/web/duenna/Download the "Full installation, Rev. 44" and the "BETA Update, Rev. 89", and you're all set. At the moment, it doesn't work completely with FSX, it does not recognize the weather and realism settings. But that should be fixed in time for the race.Edit: Oh, and it will still work, it only gives you an error and the flight is not validated, but that's no problem for now.And if you still want to take screenshots, I think that MS Paint can save images as jpg?Klasse Klas Member of AVSIM's Around the World Race Team

January 27, 200719 yr Hey there Donny,Did you manage to get yourself squared away with the Duenna tool? You're certainly welcome to join us for the race. We still need more pilots! I do recommend that you come hang out with us and do some practice legs so you know the baton handoff process and can meet the rest of the team and such.If you need a hand getting squared away, hit me on IM some time. I'm "MAKopack" on Yahoo and AIM and I'll try to get you set up. I should be doing some practice flying this weekend.--Mike
