February 16, 200719 yr Hi Team! Here in the calm before the storm, let me once again say that I'm sorry that I won't be there to help out. On the other hand, I've seen a bunch of new guys come in and do some really great work and the 'veterans' seems to be up to par, so I'm not terribly worried - except about mr. Murphy, of course :-eek It's been fun training with you guys, even if I didn't have as much time to do that as I would have liked. Sometime real life tends to get all too real...Lots of advice has been given and taken and there is not much more for me to say on that account - except to repeat the *very* wise words of Reggie Fields: Always set up for a good go-around - landing is secondary. If you always plan your approach with a go-around in mind, you will be more willing to do it, if you have to. And everyone (not least yourself, believe me!) would rather have a go-around than a hole in the ground, even at the cost of a time penalty! That's all, I guess, except:Good luck, and GO GET THEM, TEAM AVSIM!!!! :-beerchug - Make me proud -Sven Sorensen, EKCH(I'll be back...)
