July 3, 200619 yr From the FAQ...Question: Can the previous version of VoxATC and VoxATC UK be installed on the same machineAnswer: No, before installing VoxATC UK you should uninstall any previous versionsPlease tell me that I don't loose the North American phraseology!!! And if so, why would I want to spend "more" money to "loose" something?Murray
July 4, 200619 yr Hi Murray,The UK version is for all those simming outside the US or those that want to utilize UK ATC terminology. The FAA version will be coming along sometime with the FSX release. Tegwyn wants to make sure he doesn't have to program that one twice ;). July 10, 200619 yr Author Thanks for your attempt at an answer, but that does not answer my questions. I was expecting a version (version 3) which would upgrade (make better) the version I have now... but not have me loose what I have now. Instead, there is now a UK version. To use the UK version, I have to loose the version I now have. Now, if that is true, why would I want to buy the UK version... even at a reduced price... it should be free if I loose what I now have!Murray Wheten
July 11, 200619 yr Hi Murray,Don't get the UK version if want FAA terminology, keep your present version and wait for the US upgrade which will be released around the time as FSX. Tegwyn is in the UK and the demand on him for a UK version has been incredible. It has been almost like writing another individual program but the lessons learned will be brought over into the US version with even more enhancements. It will be worth the wait. July 13, 200619 yr Author Thank you Zane for your response. I understand what you mean now. The thing is, I would have hoped for a UK "addon/module" to the existing program. As an avid simmer, I don't limit myself to one area of the world. Guess I will have to look at another solution. The only reason I purchased the first version was to "help" with the future development of this program. Had I known in advance that I would be faced with a choice between "one or the other", I probably would not have made the initial purchase. I feel a little let down so to speak. Oh well, such is life! Murray Wheten
August 4, 200619 yr Murray thanks for your support, and sorry about the UK only version leaving you US users out in the cold. Please read my post re version 4.Tegwyn
