Hello,A few days ago I bought the Aerosim Classic 2 package and I agree with everybody that the L1011 is a fine aircraft. However I can't seem to activate the Wing views after selecting one in the aircraft folder withwing views. I e-mailed Aerosim support, they said that I am not movingback far enough in the cabin. When I do that, then past the flight deckdoor I am outside the aircraft and see the wings detached way behind the flight deck. What am I doing wrong?? I have Active Camera installed.Any ideas??Helmut

hi there helmut! I have made my own wing views for the L-1011! But make sure you have the correct model MDL assigned in the planes CFG file. I found out that the way Aerosim had it, was the MDL's were named wrong. the NoVC was actually the Wing view model, and the Wingviw Model was actually the VC MDL. so just try and check which MDL you are using to get the Wingview Only Model! Hi Mike,Thank you very much for sending me the wingviews for the L1011, I now have wing views. One question, I checked the panel.cfg for every versioninstalled and all I see is these few lines:[Views]View_Forward_dir=1.5, 0.0, 0.0View_Forward_Zoom=.80.View_Forward_Eye=0.0, 0.0, 0.0Day=255,255,255Night=30,35,35Luminous=250,210,180Is that what they shipped or did I miss anything??Helmut

Hello, The VC model is VC only, the Wingview model is VC and wingview, the NoVC model is Wingview only. :)If you have Active camera and are in either the Wing view model or NoVC model....simply move all the way back untill you are above the wing.Wing view does not mean Virtual Cabin ...you will only see the wings and engines.:)

Yea that is the way it is from Aerosim, So Just remove the Orginal Views that you saw [Views]View_Forward_dir=1.5, 0.0, 0.0View_Forward_Zoom=.80.View_Forward_Eye=0.0, 0.0, 0.0and replaced them with mine. Also always make Backup copys of the orginal CFG file, Just In case! Ok Enjoy, MIKE:)
