September 6, 200619 yr Hey,Firstly, let me just say how impressed I am with the Tinmouse 737 -- I'd probably say it's as good (if not, better) than a lot of payware I have seen. It's an absolutely amazing aircraft, and you guys have gone into great detail with it!Now, I find myself wanting to try out some very diverse flying; up in Northern Canada, where most of the runways are gravel, the navaids come sparse, and, well, the headings are done in true headings rather than magnetic. Well, the only restriction that I have is the heading indicator seems to be "stuck" in the magnetic heading mode! I was wondering if there was any possible way to switch it over to true, or set it manually (as it would be really done, am I wrong?)Anyway, any help would be appreciated on the subject.P.S. anyone willing to do some Canadian 732 repaints? It would be great to have: Canadian Airlines, Air Canada, Zip Air, Canjet, First Air, the list goes on and on...
September 6, 200619 yr Ehmmm Bob.... Flashback ;) that makes two of us Dkelly :)regards,Macs :)P.S.: Manual is almost done, just a few more days... Been adding stuff as I read the posts on the forum...
September 6, 200619 yr 2 of us on the subject of true heading or Canadian repaints? :(BTW -- do you know how to change the headings, or do I have to sit in agony for a few more days until the manual comes out?
September 6, 200619 yr I was reffering to the True headings...Gyro-only slave mode is not currently implemented for the Tinmouse, but from an earlier request, it could be implemented ;)regards,Macs :)
September 6, 200619 yr Almost had someone to support me on the repaints there :D Well, if that's the type gyro that you can adjust, that that's what I need! Would be a much-wanted utility!
September 12, 200619 yr I decided against an unslaved gyro, as it doesn't mesh well with a number of the nav options I've been busy integrating. I went instead with a True/Mag hdg switch similar to one we had on a r/w aircraft with the Litton INUs. It's done and tested with the base radios, the CIVA INS, the RealityXP rendition of the Garmin GNS530, and I'm currently working on a Project Magenta MCP/CDU combo.A number of folks have also asked about the Sperry SP-177 AFGS...that project is on hold and will not be included in V1.2 as I had hoped. I have not been able to procure documentation on the 177. I have three different AFMs for the -200, all of which use the SP-77. If anyone knows where I can find docs on the system, I could use a vector.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Santiago de Chile Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case
