In the latest release of the FS2004 Kittyhawk Boeing 737-200 there are automatic wing and flap tip vortices which I've been trying to work into the Tinmouse cfg without too much success at present.It means a major rewrite of the "Lights" to make it work properly.Has anyone tried this to include these effects ?Pete

These effects were incuded as an option by Philip Foglar with his latest repaints. I mentioned the lights issue to Philip in another forum and he said it was a compromise. He was unable to retain all the lighting functions with the vortices and is why he offers it as an option.I decided to follow the compromise route and have one aircraft for night (lights) and one for day (vortices) flights!Hope this helpsIan

I wrote an invisible gauge some while back for my 737 fleet that automatically switches on wingtip vortex effects based on environmental conditions - so the pilot doesn't physically have to do anything, just watch out for the vortices as the external temperature and atmospheric pressure drop. Also, it works with the [smokesystem] rather than the [lights], so that you don't lose any lights assignments. Let me know if there is interest, and I'll upload it.Martyn;)
