The key is good fine power control. Many throttle devices, even expensive ones like my PFC quad, have a hard time with fine power control, resulting in a lot of throttle jockeying..which is why I added the throttle trim feature. With a good stabilized power setting set, and the jet properly trimmed, I find final approach to be quite stable.CheersBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile

usually, with flaps 30 and gear down, EPR at 1.3~1.4 gives you the VAPP without jockeying the throttle.at flaps 40, expect a little more thrust to keep the VAPP.
