September 12, 200619 yr Thanks Steve !That's what I call an accurate explanation.Depending on the winds and visibility, I will try to perform either a cat2 or cat3 approach for 16R, or a cat1 approach for 34L.I know that runway equipements are determining the approach category and requirements. I think I've got it for the minima settings. Learning something new everyday, as the reason for setting both radio and baro altimeters.Regards.
