January 23, 200719 yr I'm flying FS9.1 on my system. I completed the building of this a few weeks ago. My specs are below.AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+Gigabyte SLI590 moboGeForce 6200LE (temp) on PCI-e x162GB DDR2 800 OCZ Platinum Revision 2Dual 320GB SATA HDDsSoundBlaster AudigyWin XP Pro (32bit) up to dateNod32 virus ScanNow, I know Nod32 is a problem for some people, but it's never been a problem for me before on my old Dell.I load up FS9 and it appears fine, I connect to VATSIM and everything goes great. A few minutes later I CTD without warning or error message. I understand many others are experiencing the same problems.Things I've done:Reinstalled FS9 and updateReinstalled SB3Upped my RAM bus voltage to 2.1 rather than 1.8 (mem is supposed to be at 2.1)I'm out of ideas.... a friend of mine says to check the RAM timings in the bios and make sure they're accurate... but other than that I'm out of things to try.Any ideas?
January 23, 200719 yr Dx9c installed with AGP disabled and sound acceleration turned offRan ORTHOS for 1 hour and no errorsReplaced FSUIPC 3.5 with 3.70Still a CTDand it only occurs while connected to VATSIM.
January 23, 200719 yr Make sure you have the following line in your FSUIPC.ini file:RemoveATC=YesI'm pretty sure this only works with the registered version of FSUIPC. There is a nasty bug in the ATC.DLL module that emerges and will send you straight to CTD he11 when using external ATC programs like SB3, Radar Contact etc...in fact it's a factor any time FS default ATC is turned off. It was fixed long ago by Pete Dowson. I also just built a new system and lost this parameter in my new FSUIPC setup. It has to be added manually to the .ini file...there is no checkbox option.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case

February 6, 200719 yr Hi Bob,After completing my new PC2 weeks ago, I did a full clean install of FS9. I also installed the latest version of FSUIP 3.72. Since then CTD. No relation to position, time. Only when online VATSIM . I installed FS9 once again, same CTD. Could go well for hours, and then..CTD. Its like FS keeps running while the error message is produced and then closes to desktop. I've tried with all antivirus, antispyware and other software of, no result. My guess is a software conflict. Can't reproduce this CTD. Gonna try out your suggestion, since I have a registered version of FSUIPEarl.System: WXP-Pro SP2 - FS9 SP1Asus P5N32-ESli; Intel Q6700; Nvidia 8800GTX; Corsair XMS 2GB, 2x WD150Gb Raptor in RAID0.
February 6, 200719 yr I'm still having the same CTD. Only when connected to VATSIM, and the same CTD when using SB3 or FSInn. I ran 17 hours of ORTHOS, and a 20 minute GPU stress test... both came out 100% fine.
February 8, 200719 yr still CTD even with the addition to the ini. I do get an error report screen, though.
February 8, 200719 yr Fixed! IMON in NOD32 needed to have FS9.exe set as an exclusion, not NOD32 AMON as an exception. Thanks for your help.
February 17, 200719 yr Hi all, just starting to get those CTD's again during online flying. This is what my screen looks like. Anybody a clue what might cause this ?ThxEarl.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/166850.jpgSystem:WXPSP2 FS9 ASUS P5N32E-SLI MB Intel Core 2 Extreme QX 6700 NVIDIA Geforce 8800GTX Corsair XMS2 2GB DDR2 800 2xWD Raptor 150GB RAID 0 1WD 150GD Plextor PX-716 AL DVD
