How to add GPS gauge to Oleksiy's Dash-8

Featured Replies

Hi all,Is it easy to add the GPS window to Oleksiy's Dash-8 panel? I rely on it heavily to intercept glideslopes and it would be a welcomed feature on an already great aircraft.Cheers,Glenn (CYQG)

GlenI haven't a clue how to do this. If someone could let us know how, I'd also be grateful. It's probably pretty simple, once you know how.Gavin

Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)

Well, if you absolutely need to have GPS then you can try copying the line and section shown below and paste them into your panel CFG. The brackets around the entry Window08 MUST be square (the forum software doesn't allow square brackets for some obscure reason) so change them to match the other entries in the panel CFG. Shift + 9 will bring up the GPS in the lower right corner of the panel. This worked for me, but I found that FS Panel Studio becomes very cranky when dealing with this panel. Thank you Douglas. If the panel doesn't like it. I can always remove it and learn to fly properly...Cheers,Glenn
