Mouse Flickering

Featured Replies

All of a sudden my mouse pointer is flicking when I move it in FS9. As soon as I stop moving it, it disappears. Usually the curser stays on for a second or two. Any ideas? This is a Dell 4600 P4/3.06Ghz, Radeon 9600 w/ 256meg, 1Gig of ram. I have been running FS2004 on this machine for along time with no problems. Help.

You probably changed your mouse pointer to a 3D version. Either change it back or do the following. When the the flickering occurs, right-click somewhere on your screen. Wait for a menu to appear and then left-click somewhere else. Flickering should be gone, 3D pointer should appear. That has been my experience anyway.Same behavior in FSX, expect that there, you can't perform the trick. One more reason to steer clear of FSX. :D
