Total fs 2004 (and computer) lockup

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm flying the Eurowings BaE Avro and it works fine on the ground but once i take off i can stay in 2d panel view for as long as i like, but once i switch to spot plane view whilst I'm up in the air, i hear a very loud and high piched beeping noise and my computer locks up completely, forcing me to manually reboot it...Anyone know about any solutionsThanksTruls S. What kind of video card and sound card are you using, and which drivers? Is this a new development on a long-running system, or is FS9 new to this system?RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile

Try renaming the sound folder in that airplane's folder and see if the problem goes away...could be a corrupt wav file in the sound config. If the problem goes away, use a regular wav player like MediaPlayer and go through every .wav file in the sound folder and see if you can ID which one it is.Have there been any updates issued for the acft since you last uninstalled it?RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile
