I'm pleased to report I'm the proud owner of a little utility which converts FSX.PLN flightplan files to FS2004.PLN format. CoolFSX Flightplanner permits one to drag&drop the course line anywhere on the route-map to create a new waypoint. For those of us who prefer to fly FS2004 (but own FSX) this permits creating some nice VFR routes using FSX's FlightPlanner and converting and flying them in our flightsimulator-of-choice -- FS9.
