Ultimate Traffic and Project AI

Featured Replies

I'm using the CD version of UT, but I was wondering if you can combine UT with other AI such as Project AI packages without any problems?

you sure can. But it's an extremely time consuming process....and addictive too. The result is rewarding however, and you'll see a huge improvement in the fps department. Plus it's a great way to learn about airplane types. do a search here for Ultimate Traffic, or replacing AI, etc...there are some very helpful threads.Be warned though, it'll take you weeks if not months to re-work the AI...and it's never finished (i stopped about 6 month ago...couldn't keep up)-feng

I have UT and have replaced most of the models with AI Aardvark, Evolve AI, FSPainter, etc. You not only gain better looking AI but increase framerates as well.Cheers

When you add an airline from PAI or World of AI, you will want to unselect that airline from the list of airlines in Ultimate Traffic and recompile your UT traffic file. That way you avoid duplicating flights/ schedules.

"....and addictive too"Thats true! You just have to do a bit and then get back to flying and then get back to it days / weeks / months later or thats all you end up doing but the results are worth it - some of the best screen shots can involve the replaced AI at a decent airport...CheersMike
