March 18, 200719 yr I'm flying POSKY's 757 with the Level-D 767 panel and CH Flightsim Yoke. For some reason if I give it a bit of Nose up trim, the trim will go all the way and I cant get it back down. I've alternated between other aircraft and the problem doesn't happen. I suspected the button assignments on the yoke but they work fine with any other aircraft. any ideas??
March 18, 200719 yr If you've not done it already - Check your autopilot: if you hit Ctrl-Z and she beeps at you - that was the problem! i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
March 18, 200719 yr Speedbird, you should use a merge between the Posky aircraft and LDS panel instead of trying to fly the hybrid directly. It will generally fly like a 767, but with no problems at all. I've made a flight like that today with a big smile. You can find a ready merge/instruction if you search a bit around.Best regards,Rafal
March 19, 200719 yr Paul:The first couple times this happened was precisely after disconnecting the autopilot so I could fly the approach manually. Hitting the nose-up trim a couple of times would result in the elevator trim going all the way up and not responding to nose-down button. (Luckily I could land the plane but using almost full nose down yoke) I suspected the stab trim cut-out switches located on the pedestal to the left of the fuel control, but this seemed non-functional.
March 19, 200719 yr thanks for the tip! I've always liked the posky 757 flight dynamics so I fear the LDS 767 model will seem a bit heavy on the controls for the 757. anyway I'll try it out and maybe with a bit of tweaking will do the trick
