Error message help please....

Featured Replies

I keep getting these two error messages everytime I start FS9, can someone help me get rid of them please? The first one is for the GaugeSound.dll. I entered [old_modules] into my fs9.cfg file then added GaugeSound.dll=1 underneath, but it didn't stop the error message. Did I not enter the correct lines?http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/168870.jpgThe second error just started today. I don't have any idea what flight file it is looking for or why?http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/168871.jpgThanks for any help.

Was this after loading the NAAM DC3 by any chance? If so there is some advice in the manual, if not ....never mind. LOL

Nope, haven't installed anything new for a while...thanks anyway.

I didn't want to get into detail till I knew that, that is why I asked right off. There is a similar problem with that particular DC3 and I have the repair for it but it was very specific to that add on.Wish I could help further but .........

Look in your Modules folder. You will almost certainly find a copy of gaugesound.dll there. If so, move it to your main FS folder.Should make the problem go away.Doug

You are wise indeed...that is one problem sovled, one to go. Thanks for the help.

Looks like the default flight is gone or corrupt. Set up the Cessna wherever you want it to be and save the flight as the default. Problem should go away.
