March 21, 200719 yr Greetings all, Anyone know how to make ai aircraft lights look smaller.Mine look like balls of light on approach.I am using aht5 by Brian N already but maybe theres another setting for ai?ThanksAndrewDamascus Pa
March 21, 200719 yr I don't have AI A/C, but there must be a [LIGHTS] section in the .cfg file. I updated just about every one of A/C with this zip file, available in the AVSIM library: nav_light_package.zip. When you extract the file you will get 3 groups, HIGH, MEDIUM, and LOW, each group has Red, Green and White. Just rename each color in the group NAV_RedH for high, NAV_GreenM for medium, and NAV_WhiteL for low and don't include the .fx at the end. You have to edit each light in the three groups. You now have 3 options for the Nav lights, and you can use different intensities at the same time. Just substitude the new lights for the the ones in the [Lights] section.Part of the secret of success in life is to eat what you like -M.Twain

March 23, 200719 yr Hi,Try adjusting the following settings in you fs9.cfg file (think they go under [DISPLAY] and there was a sticky on the Matrox forum):RUNWAY_LIGHTS_SURFACE_SCALAR=0.30 //scales edge, center, end, touchdown, runways RUNWAY_LIGHTS_VASI_SCALAR=0.70 // scales VASI lights) RUNWAY_LIGHTS_APPROACH_SCALAR=0.70 // scales approach light bars RUNWAY_LIGHTS_STROBE_SCALAR=0.70 //scales RAILs and ODALs) You can play around with the settings to find something you like...Hope it works as I too found it frustrating.CheersMike
