Even links to a modified one will probably result in the topic being locked.Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England). April 21, 200719 yr Moderator A search through the library would probably answer your question. There may have been a file at some point but I think it would have been removed. Also try searching using SIM1.DLL.Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England). April 21, 200719 yr You can find the offsets and modifications that can be made here:http://www.avhistory.org/scripts/MegaBBS/t...isplayType=flatThough, mind you, any change you make will be global, so don't be surprised to see other addons behave strangely, AI planes skidding and crashing off the runways etc.
April 22, 200719 yr Norman B, once with PSS, told me that although the modified 'Sim1.dll' was fine for default aircraft and more, PSS and most other payware models have different/better frictions built into the FDE. Dave Taylor

I'll be glad to know how one can modify friction wothein the FDE. AFAIK its not possible! Otherwise why would people bother looking into the hardcoded "guts" of MSFS??!
