May 15, 200719 yr I was merrily enjoying a flight form Singapore to Melbourne in the PMDG 747 and had been without problems until with 50nm of Melbourne when the HDD started to thrash around and created a very nice (not) slide show.I 2gb of RAM with an E6600 CPU and a 8800 VC. Oh, yes the other thing is Vista.Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon and if so what should I be tinkering with to prevent this from happening again.ThanksAybehttp://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannerbeta.jpg Andy Brockbank
May 15, 200719 yr One word - Filemonhttp://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysintern...sk/Filemon.mspxSounds like a classic case of fs bogging your cpu down looking for something it could not find. That's just one possibility.regards,Markhttp://www.dreamfleet2000.com/a320/custbanner2.jpgPC Power Silencer 470/3.2HT/2048mb/ATI X1950pro/SB Audigy Regards, Mark
May 15, 200719 yr That's a bugger you must have just been throwing on the seatbelts and slowing to 250 through 10 :-) I get days like this too. The thing is at 50nm north of Melbourne there's nothing there. Wierd. I reckon Filemon is a go.
