Ai Traffic

Featured Replies

Is it possible to have Ai Traffic fly a specific route. That is depart rwy, fly direct to a nav fix, then a specific airway to destination.

emb:no it is not.AI fly the following -departure airport (rwy depending on weather), great circle route, arrival airport (rwy depending on weather).nav fixes, airways, etc. are not used by AI (and only by user aircraft if selected by way of using FS's routeplanner).--

Yes,but it's a very complicated flight plan. You have to create fake airports in the airports.txt for each fix/ turn. You have to time the FP perfectly so that there is a less than 5 min period between arrival at the fix/ fake airport position and departure for the next fix.Several folks working on military AI are very good at making those type FP. You might find good specifics at http://www.militaryaiworks.com/
