August 10, 200718 yr Does anybody recognize these cirrus clouds and what file or fix they're from? I can't figure it out, and it's driving me nuts!I'm running WideView and I have these beautiful cirrus clouds on my client computer (Left View Comp2.jpg), which is about a year old but I can't get them on my newer, faster, stronger server computer, no matter what I do (View Forward Comp1.jpg and View Right Comp1.jpg). All files are duplicated exactly across the two machines -- or so I thought. Weather and clouds are all set identical.I DON'T have ActiveSky, but I do have Ground Environment Pro, RealEnvironment Pro and Ultimate Terrain. I also have a registered copy of FSUIPC adding a cirrus layer but I'm pretty sure they're not from that program. Can anybody help -- they're so cool, and no AS 6.5!! I'd like to enjoy them across all 3 screens. Thanks in advance.Chuck B. Smooth Skies! -- Chuck B. August 11, 200718 yr Hi Andy,They will work, but an automatic ASG run will over write many of the files. Best to manually use ASG if you go this route.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

August 11, 200718 yr "I thought of that and reinstalled Soft Horizons -- those aren't John's."U b right--Soft Horizons doesn't change clouds although it does apply softer shading to clouds over distance.Regards,John
August 12, 200718 yr Author Hi, John! Any hints on how to use your awesome graphics with programs like ActiveSky Graphics or Flight Environment without having to copy and paste them back in to the Texture folder every time? You've really spoiled me -- I can't fly without Soft Horizons any more! I'll ditch Active Sky before I stop using it.Chuck B. Smooth Skies! -- Chuck B. August 12, 200718 yr Author I'm slowly arriving at the conclusion that these lovely cirrus clouds are generated by FS9 itself and the ATI card on my second computer is picking them up but my nVidia card isn't (see signature for configuration). Is that possible? All AA and AF settings are identical across both systems.TIA.Chuck Smooth Skies! -- Chuck B.
