Nhancer and frame rates

Featured Replies

I'm curious if you'll get better frame rates using Nhancer settings versus the default Nvidia video card settings for FS9?I replaced my Radeon 9800XT with a Nvidia Geforce 7950GT and even though the card is supposed to be faster, the frame rates seem to be about the same or even slower than with the older card, especially with clouds being rendered. Could this be related to the AA problem with Nvidia cards and FS9?Kim

I have GF 7950 GT2X since 8 months. NHANCER is a wonderful tool to eliminate Jags on the plane. I don't check AA setting in FS9/FSX but instead I utilize AA/AF settings in NHancer. Results is perfect.I average 30 FPS with 7950 in FS9. But I don't have much luck with FSX, 7950 can manage up to 17 FPS on the ground with stutters .Sanal

Do you have a PMDG airliner and what frame rates can you get with weather active in FS9? If I fly the PMDG 747 and with a lot of clouds being rendered, frame rates will sag to about 15 fps at times, 8 or 9 near a busy airport. Most of the time I get an average of 25fps. Also, what resolution and AA settings are you using with your 7950 card?Kim
