November 6, 200718 yr I've been using this program and it really helps with my AI traffic. Do most of you just use the default settings? Some of the settings I'm not so sure what they perform so any suggestions are welcome.thanks
November 6, 200718 yr Hi,i can't access my settings for about a week, but I know I changed the degrees of influence to 360.Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
November 6, 200718 yr I looked in the "settings" menu but didn't see that term. Are you using version 1.11? Is it called something else?
November 7, 200718 yr Hi,That was from memory!! The setting that by default is 180 degrees I made it 360 so that AI planes would not cut in front of me for a short final.Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
November 7, 200718 yr Will that affect ai planes landing on a parrell rwy? If I'm ie 25L and klax and an ai is landing on 24R with a value of 7 or 5 I don't want aismooth to turn that ai because of me. John K
November 7, 200718 yr Well, it will turn that plane because of the limitations of all the software.Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
November 7, 200718 yr >Well, it will turn that plane because of the limitations of>all the software.>>Jim>I just got version 1.20.The default values seem small and honestly I'm not sure what some of the values setting even do. I've set distance between aircraft at 10 miles and min landing separation at 75 seconds. Anything else I should mess with? I changed the 'intercept' to 30 also.
November 8, 200718 yr I do not have Respond To User Aircraft enabled. As an example if you leave this enabled and you sit parked near a runway for spotting, all ai which would land on that runway would be put in a hold and none would land. I do not think that has changed.
