Airport/AI sound

Featured Replies

What's the best freeware/payware for enhancing the airport sound environment? I use a combination of Ultimate Traffic and World of AI but the sound of aircraft taxing close by or taking off is barely audible even with environmental sound turned way up. I've got lots of superb airport scenery addons but the lack of "real" airport "sounds" is lacking.ThanksF15Driver

You may wish to take a look at Issue Number 11 of my Tips and Tricks series (available online here). Look for tips_ands_tricks_11.zipThere is a discussion in that issue of AI sound and how to change it that may be helpful.

Thanks Guys!

Hello:How exactly do we increase this wave file? Where is it first of all? Thanks for any helpRegardsRick

How much AI noise would you actually here in some planes though? I know in airliners you can hear a rumble when a jet close takes off, but as far as normal sounds, how much can you hear? Also, in a smaller GA it's gonna be different too because it's not pressurized in a lot of cases and not made to keep noise out.
