perfect flight

Featured Replies

am thinking about maybe getting perfect flights 717 and or the MD11 but wondered about how they will run as far as frame rates go. yea, they look alot like default aircraft panels so maybe it's frame rate friendly. i have an AMD3000 1024Ms of ram and a ATI9600 , 40G HD.if there's much of a frame hit then i'll just stay with the defaults. oh yea, i'm interested in aircraft with VCs that's why i'm interested in perfect flight. thanks, william

I dont have personal experience with Perfect Flight but I hear they fly and look alot like the defaults. You might want to look at Commercial Level Simulations (CLS) as their planes are supposedly very frame rate friendly and fly more realisticly than the defaults and Perfect Flight offerings but arent as system/ procedural oriented as lets say a Level D or PMDG offering. On a VC note, I have the Level D 767 and Wilco Legacy and both have excellent VCs. The only thing is that they are very procedural oriented aircraft with realistic systems. It sounds like you want something simple and these planes are very study intensive, but it is well worth it! Once again I have no personal experience with Perfect Flight and CLS but am telling you what I have heard from fellow simmers and read in reviews. Hopefully someone who has had experience with these two companies could better answer your question. You also might find that payware planes are easier to fly than the default jets. That is because the default jets dont fly all that realisticly!

hi reed, thanks for the info. i just want something framerate friendly not so much simplicity. i'll take a look at CLS, thanks again man. william

Hello WilliamPerfect flight are very poor IMHO

Overland released a free version of their MD-11 a while ago, it even has a VC. And there is a payware 717 by Vans that is far better. So many better options out there

thanks alex. william
